Mount Gay Rum<\/a>, partnered with the American Sweepstakes Company to administer the promotion. American Sweepstakes<\/a> leveraged Sweeppea\u2019s sweepstakes platform to offer the chance to win 1 of 18 “Summer Essential Kits”.<\/p>\n

To increase participation, American Sweepstakes suggested a text to win<\/strong> style sweepstakes to capture fans on-the-go, at stores, and retailers.\u00a0 All the participants had to do to enter was text the word MGSUMMER\u00a0<\/strong> to the number 65074<\/strong>\u00a0and the Sweeppea\u00a0text to win platform\u00a0<\/a>handled the age verification (21+) and collected participant\u2019s entry information (Name, email, age and state).<\/p>\n
